His collection of 40-plus signature ‘B’ caps is almost as well-known as his ability to light up a room. James sprinted his way from being a collegiate All-American track star to an award-winning National Account Executive, proving he knows a thing or two about winning in every arena.
James thrives on connecting with people and leading teams to success, fueled by the lessons he learned both on the track and in corporate boardrooms. Whether crossing the finish line to earn world-class status as a sprinter or spending more than 30 years working with national, sports, and corporate clients, James knows what it takes to prepare, compete, and deliver results, and why staying connected in ‘THE XCHANGE ZONE’ is where the magic happens.
As a former sales executive, James has managed high-profile clients and negotiated major deals for sporting events and corporations. He was named National Account Executive of the Year during his time as a sales director with Visit Houston and Supplier of the Year by Meeting Professionals International (MPI) Houston, where he now serves as President of the board of directors.
Today, James blends his championship mindset with his sales and leadership expertise to deliver keynotes, breakout sessions, and workshops that are as practical as they are inspiring.
